You don't have to spend much time on the road to notice the variety of different vehicles available; SUVs, compact cars, trucks. While they all have their advantages and disadvantages that can make choosing which to buy a tough decision, trucks offer versatility that many other vehicles don't. The wide range of light, medium, and heavy trucks allow owners to transport people, haul cargo, and participate in a variety of outdoor activities with relative ease. But just as you put a lot of thought into the type of truck to buy, an equally important decision is choosing the right set of tires. While there are many factors to consider when you are purchasing tires for your truck, the two most important factors are purpose and load capacity. Before you decide which tries to buy it's important to think about what your primary purpose is for your truck. Are you going to be driving primarily around town or is your truck for outdoor, off-road adventures? The differences between the two are substantial and so are the tires. City driving typically only requires all-weather tires while all-terrain or off-road tires would allow your truck to be better equipped for unpaved conditions. Trucks are meant to haul. And while the hauling capacity will vary based on the size of the vehicle it's also important to keep in mind when purchasing tires. The recommendations for your particular truck can typically be found in your vehicle's owner's manual, by contacting to the dealership or by visiting one of your local tire dealers. For work, play or life, trucks are a great investment and with the right set of tires you can really maximize its ability and functionality.
