The Grand Tour is the go-to show for car enthusiasts. Hosts Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson and James May display a passion and love for all things car-related: driving anything from a Bugatti to a Ford Fiesta. They love them all.

In 2018, Ford announced that they would be discontinuing their saloons, amid sedans losing popularity with consumers. More people are opting for SUVs and larger cars, leaving sedans in the dust. The only Ford cars you will be able to buy in the future will be the Mustang and the upcoming Focus Active model.

For Season 3, Episode 14, the Grand Tour features a memorial service to the medium -sized Ford saloon. They attend the Lincoln Cathedral to mourn the end of an era. The Ford saloon is a staple of both British and American history. As car enthusiasts ourselves, we are very sad to hear this. Rest in peace Ford saloon.
