California Summers are known for three things: hot cars, cool beaches, and good food. For the past few years Performance Plus Tire has been bringing all of these great things together at the Annual Summer Barbeque and Cruise Night in Long Beach, California. So if you like cars and free food there’s really no better place to be, but there’s no time to waste, this year’s Summer BBQ & Cruise Night is happening today, July 22, 2011 and will be held from 5 pm to 9 pm at 3910 Cherry Avenue in Long Beach. Since the first Summer Barbeque and Cruise Night in 2009, people have people flock to our Long Beach venue for not only our great grilling skills but our awesome car competition. And really, what’s the point of owning an amazing car if you don’t get to show it off? If your modifications are one of a kind or you are just really proud of your car then bring it over to our competition. Everything from muscle cars to classic trucks are welcome at our car competition, where prizes will be awarded to the top five cars along with a spot on the Performance Plus 2012 Calendar, talk about recognition! But you don’t have to have a car to take part in the festivities; all you need is a healthy appetite and a love of cars. At this year’s Summer BBQ & Cruise Night Performance Plus Tire will also be selling raffle tickets for a giveaway in November 20, 2011 for some cutting edge home entertainment equipment including a 3D big screen television.
