San Francisco – Time is winding down to the annual National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention & Exposition and all 500 exhibitor spaces have been booked. Running January 24 to 27, 2019, the Moscone Center, 747 Howard St, San Francisco, California, NAPA Expo 2019 will be a complete experience, perhaps even more than one person can take in on their own. The only thing left is for new car- and truck-dealer representatives to sign in their attendance and start booking hotels
From the off-site J.D. Power Automotive Summit and Welcome Reception, at the Marriott Marquis, to the Distinguished Speakers, not to mention hundreds of exhibitions and workshops, NADA Expo 2019 is set to inspire and motivate automobile dealer success. Here are just a few things you can expect at NADA Expo 2019.
- Thursday, January 24 – After Registration and Orientation, the afternoon starts with New Car Dealer Social Media Marketing, then between Workshop and Exchange sessions, Distinguished Speakers. What can modern auto dealers learn from the world’s first female fighter pilot? Carey Lohrenz explains leadership, teamwork, and overcoming obstacles at 2:30.
- Friday, January 25 – With the Expo Hall Ribbon Cutting, NADA Expo 2019 officially begins. After the Lifestyle Experience and Workshops, at 10:30, Alan Haig and Dale Pollak explain how vehicle ownership is evolving and what dealers will need to do to adapt. Then, Franchise Meetings include Acura, Audi, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), and the day ends with a General Session led by Kat Cole, discussing team building and accelerating change for success.
- Saturday, January 26 – Today, between Workshop and Exchange sessions, Dealer Franchise Meetings cover the gamut, BMW, Buick-GMC, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Kia, Volkswagen, Cadillac, Infiniti, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Porsche, smart, and Subaru. Distinguished Speaker Mark King talks reinvention and creating entirely new experiences to build business. After the Women Dealers Luncheon, at the St. Regis, take a not-so-serious look at life and business through the eyes of Emmy Award-winning comic Dana Carvey.
- Sunday, January 27 – USAF Major Dan Rooney explains how faith, teamwork, trust, and compassion lead to success in every business. Then, Dr. Rick Rigsby explains how to make a lasting impression in a superficial world. The final Dealer Franchise Meeting sessions include Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Toyota, and Volvo. After sharing Desserts on Us, Bill Rancic closes out the last Distinguished Speaker session, discussing how sometimes rejecting “conventional wisdom” could be the wisest choice of all.
The automotive landscape is changing in ways we never thought possible. True, technology has evolved, but even our customers have evolved. Forward-thinking automobile dealers will want to take full advantage of every workshop and Speaker session to take their business to the next level.
Last year, nearly 50,000 people attended the show, and this year looks to be attracting about the same amount of attention. Basically, this means if you want to take advantage of the best seats and closest hotels to the convention center, booking as soon as possible is recommended. Registration is open at
